Disney Adventure Begins!!

Well I am all moved-in and checked-in for my 2nd College Program! It was been a busy couple of days. I will be ready to be on some sort of schedule. Cori and I left Oklahoma on Sunday September 2nd and arrived at Disney World on Tuesday September 4th. On the 4th we met our roommates and some of their family members for dinner. Wednesday morning we got in line a 5:00am so we could be sure we got the apartment we wanted. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted. We are in a two bedroom in Patterson!!

After check-in we headed to casting to find out where we would be working. I will be working the Marina at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and the Arcades at Pop Century and Art of Animation. After casting we moved all our stuff into the apartment and had the rest of day free.

The second day we only had a housing meeting that we had to go to. ANd the rest of the day was left for getting organized.

The third day was completely free. We didn't do a whole lot. Just relax for the busy days that were coming up.

The fourth day we had tradition. I had the 2nd class so I go to sleep in a little bit. After tradition Cori, our roommates and I went to Hollywood Studios. We didn't have a whole lot of time but we did do Tower of Terror, met Buzz and Woody, and lastly went on Midway Mania.

Today, Sunday, I had my Welcome to Recreation class. It was a long day. So I just went back to the apartment and relaxed.

The next couple of weeks will be busy busy so I will try to keep everyone updated as much as possible.

Can't wait to share the next part of my adventure with you all!!

Graduation 2012

Well, I know I haven't updated in a while so I thought I would catch everyone up on what I have been doing since the last post!

The first thing is....... I GRADUATED from College!! That's right I am one of many many students that graduated from OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY!! I am so excited. It was a crazy day but I wouldn't have had it any other way! There was a lot of family and friends that came to support Cori and I. People who have mad a big impact on our lives. It still feels weird to be finished but I am sure it will sink in eventually.

The week after graduation my sister, parents, and I flew out to Denver, Colorado to spend a long weekend. We went to see my brother, his wife, and two kids one last time before they went back overseas. Also, we went because they got us tickets to see Wicked!!! It was amazing and I loved it so much. (but i just love musicals to begin with) We also go to go to a Denver Outlaws Lacrosse game. It was really neat because that I was my first ever professional lacrosse game. We definitely had a lot of fun and it was nice to get away for a little while.

This past weekend we all went to Perkins to move the rest of Cori and I's stuff out of the house! It feels so good to have all my stuff in one place again! :)

Since then we haven't done a whole lot.  Most evening consist of watching the Oklahoma City Thunder plat in the NBA play-offs. In the first round they swept the Dallas Mavericks. Then in the second round they beat the Los Angeles Lakers in 5 games. You can definitely say there is a lot of excitement in the air in Oklahoma. The next round in the Western Conference Finals and they will be facing the San Antonio Spurs! It will definitely be a good series but hopefully the Thunder come out on top.

~Disney Update~
Well I know several of you may be curious about what is going on with Disney news! Well, Cori and I have found two girls to room with when we get there in September. It will be so good to finally meet them in person. Can't wait to update you more as the time gets closer!

Adventure's Away!!

I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!

Yep, that's right I am headed to do another Disney College Program!! It was kind of a last minute decision. Here is a brief out line of events:

April 4, 2012 - Filled out Application and took the Online Web Interview. Passed that part and made a Phone Interview.

April 9, 2012 - Had Phone Interview

April 12, 2012 - Congratulations!!! You have been accepted

So as you can tell I applied, interviewed, and was accepted within about a week's time. I was so surprised when I found out that I was accepted because last time it took 2 weeks to find out and this time it took a little over 2 days. Everyone says it's because I have already worked for them. 

Well I have chosen a date and will Check-In September 5, 2012. I was actually hoping for an August check-in date but I am just happy I get to go again. I hope this time I can keep this blog updated better and keep all of you informed.
