A Little Ride With Flashing Lights!

Well it has been awhile since I last posted a blog so I thought I would update everyone on what has been going on!

Well this past week on Wednesday I took a little ride in an Ambulance! Yes you read correctly and Ambulance! I was at work and after being there for about 3 hours I was having a really sharp pain in my lower right side, near my hip bone. I thought that I could just make it through my 10 hour day day but the pain was just getting worse. So on my break I headed to talk to one of my coordinators. He was asking me all these questions about my pain. Then he asked me if I wanted him to call the paramedics? I really didn't want him to because I really thought I could handle the pain but it was just getting worse so I finally told him to go ahead a call them. When they got there they asked me all the medical questions they have to go through. Everyone thought that it was my appendix because it was on my right side. So the paramedics said that they thought it was best to go to the Hospital. Well once at the hospital I got poked by lots of needles and had lots of tests run and finally they found out that I had a Kidney Stone! After they figured out what it was they really wanted me to stay the night but I was just ready to go back to my apartment to sleep and be with my sister.

I had been at the hospital all by myself and if you have never been there by yourself when you are in a lot of pain it can be very tiring. They are asking you all the questions, having you fill out the paperwork. poking you, and running tests. I was so exhausted. But I was definitely glad they figured out what was wrong. When I was finally finished I called Cori and she came to pick me up!

Well I did go to work the next day because really there is nothing I can do about it until it passes. All the people at work couldn't believe I was there. It is now Tuesday and I still have it! Hopefully it passes soon. It is no fun to be in pain all the time!

Well that is my exciting news so be praying that it passes very soon!!

I Passed!!

It has probably been the two busiest weeks of my life! From check-in to training I don't where the time has gone! Last week I took my assessment and I PASSED!!! YaY!!! Everything is going pretty good so far. Last week was a little rough at the beginning but things are starting to look bright again. I have the best roommates that you could ask for! We all get along great and have so much fun when we aren't working! One thing that I do not like about my job is all the blisters that I have on my feet!! One day I came home and put 10 bandaids on!! My feet look awful! I get them because I am in and out of water all day long and I am wearing sandals and they just rub my feet raw!! Hopefully they heal up soon! I have met quite a bit of new friends and can't wait to meet lots more.

On a side note:
  Today starts the beginning of the Fall Semester at OSU and that can only mean one thing!!! College Football is right around the corner!! Don't forget your Orange on Fridays!! When I am not at work you can guarantee that I will have on Orange!

Well that is all for right now I have the day off so I am just waiting on Cori to get home and then we are going to go play in the parks!!

Drumroll Please!

Well in my last post I realized that I said I  would mention where I work at the end of the post, well sorry I forgot to post so I am going to tell you now!! Drumroll please!!!!!   I will be working at Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark!! I will be doing slide operations!

I'm HERE!!!!

Well I am finally a Disney Cast member!! Yay!! The last couple of days leading up to this one have been crazy!! Let's go all the way back to the day we left Friday August 5, 2011. Well we got up and loaded up the car then we started off on our new adventure! Well we were about an hour away from home and our car broke down on the side of the road. Yeah I know crazy! Well we sat on the side of the road while my dad talked to AAA to get a tow truck to come get us and our car! Well we sat there for about 2 hours in 106 degree weather! it was HOT!!! When the tow truck finally arrived he took us to the nearest Chevy dealership. We traded in our old car and bought a NEW car! We ended up getting a 2011 Chevy Traverse! We like it a lot but wish we didn't get it the way we did! My dad wanted us to have a car in Florida that he knew would not brake down on us! After getting the car we were on our way again! We didn't get to our hotel till 3 A.M. The next two days were smooth sailing! We arrived at Disney's Boardwalk on Sunday!

Cori and I were really excited for Sunday Night because we finally got to meet our roommates Leslie and Jess!! We all met at The ESPN Club for dinner! Then we all went back to our rooms to get a good nights rest for the BIG day!! On Monday we met at Vista Way (were check-in was) at 5:30 A.M. We wanted to make sure we all got to live together and that we got the complex we wanted! We were at the front of the line! We ended up getting exactly what we wanted! After check-in we headed to Casting where we found out where we would be working!! I will let you know at the end where I will be working! After casting we went to our apartment and started moving in all of our stuff!! Our room is pretty big and we have a walk-in closet!! Yay!! Later that day we had a housing meeting and then we were free for the rest of the day! So Cori and I went and hung out with our dad! For dinner we went and ate at the T-REX restaurant in Downtown Disney! It was pretty tasty!

On Tuesday August 9th Cori and I celebrated our 23rd Birthday! Our roommate Leslie had given us each a Disney Birthday button that we wore proudly all day! We ate pizza on the Boardwalk for lunch! After lunch we went to Wal-Mart to get some things for our apartment! Then we went to our apartment to take everything in! After that we went back to the Boardwalk to have our Birthday dinner at ESPN Club!! Yummy!!! Then we did a little shopping and Cori and I said good-bye to our Dad and we went back to our apartment for the night!

On Wednesday we had our Traditions Class! We had to be at the bus stop at 6:45 A.M. We had Traditions for about 4 and half hours! Here we finally got our Disney name tags!! Then we went back to our apartment and took a much needed nap!! Then we got some more things done that need to be done!!
