Arcade Training!

Well I have successfully completed my training at the arcade. I really enjoy working in the arcades because you get lots of guest interaction! I completed my training about 2 weeks ago and have had a week and a half on my own so far. I mostly get closing shifts which are 3:45pm-12:15am! It seems like a long time but if we are busy time really flies. My favorite arcade to work in is the Pixel Play Arcade at Art of Animation! I really love all the different colors!!

On my days off I mostly just go to the parks!! Today I got to see Boyz II Men in concert!! We were on the front row. It was so much fun!! The next 8 days are going to very busy because I work everyday. 7 of the days are closing shifts at the arcades so I will have to make sure I get lots of sleep!!! I will post some pictures below!!!

Your Training is Complete

Well I am finishing up my 2nd week of work. The end of last week and the first part of this week I have been training at Caribbean Beach Marina. They have been some very busy and long days but I have learned so much. I also worked two days on my own which were crazy. The beginning of the week had been very rainy so the Marina was closed a lot because of the weather so when the weather was finally nice the marina had lots of business. I am slowly but surely getting use to everything. Hopefully soon I will get into a rhythm were I can get things done faster.

Next week starts my training at Pop Century/Art of Animation in the arcades. There are going to be some very early mornings and some very late nights. Two of my days of training I have to be there at 6:30am and get off at 3:00pm and then the other two days I get there at 3:45pm and get off at 12:15am. I am not use to hours like these so it will be interesting to see how I do with early mornings and late nights! I will be sure to update you on how these training days go.

Oh some more exciting news.... Today I made reservations for my family and I to stay at Art of Animation!! It will be so fun to get to stay there for Christmas! I will be sure to update with pictures when we stay there but it won't be for a while!!

Disney Adventure Begins!!

Well I am all moved-in and checked-in for my 2nd College Program! It was been a busy couple of days. I will be ready to be on some sort of schedule. Cori and I left Oklahoma on Sunday September 2nd and arrived at Disney World on Tuesday September 4th. On the 4th we met our roommates and some of their family members for dinner. Wednesday morning we got in line a 5:00am so we could be sure we got the apartment we wanted. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted. We are in a two bedroom in Patterson!!

After check-in we headed to casting to find out where we would be working. I will be working the Marina at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and the Arcades at Pop Century and Art of Animation. After casting we moved all our stuff into the apartment and had the rest of day free.

The second day we only had a housing meeting that we had to go to. ANd the rest of the day was left for getting organized.

The third day was completely free. We didn't do a whole lot. Just relax for the busy days that were coming up.

The fourth day we had tradition. I had the 2nd class so I go to sleep in a little bit. After tradition Cori, our roommates and I went to Hollywood Studios. We didn't have a whole lot of time but we did do Tower of Terror, met Buzz and Woody, and lastly went on Midway Mania.

Today, Sunday, I had my Welcome to Recreation class. It was a long day. So I just went back to the apartment and relaxed.

The next couple of weeks will be busy busy so I will try to keep everyone updated as much as possible.
